ADB Vice-President Zhang calls on Minister Pokharel; pledges continuous support

adbKathmandu / March 27: Vice-President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Wencai Zhang, has called on Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Ananda Prasad Pokharel.

During the meeting held at the Ministry today, Minister Pokharel expressed gratitude for the support of ADB in construction of Gautam Buddha International Airport and Lumbini Development Trust.

Urging the ADB to provide support for capacity development project of air transport with an objective of improving services and facilities at Tribhuvan International Airport, Minister Pokharel said that additional support was necessary in reconstruction of quake-damaged districts and infrastructure development of the ‘Great Himalaya Trail’.

Similarly, ADB Vice-President Zhang assured of continuous support in development construction of Nepal. The ADB has been proving support for the construction of Gautam Buddha International Airport and Lumbini Development Trust. RSS
