Land worth Rs 5 million donated to health post

Surunga (Jhapa) / March 31: Local donors have provided five kattha of land worth Rs 5 million free of cost for the construction of a building of Goldhap Health Post.

It is noted that Yagya Raj Pakuwal, Ramesh Pakuwal, Jeevan Pakuwal, Sharma Raj Shiwakoti and Homraj Shiwakoti of Goldhap-2 donated one kattha each for the public cause.

They donated five kattha land, each costs Rs 1 million, to the health post, said health post’s In-charge Kiran Kumar Kharel.

Likewise, local duo Dilkeshar Thapa and Rukmini Sangroula have also decided to donate one kattha land each to the health post for its building construction.

Aid to Red Cross in memory of wife

Social activist Parshuram Dhakal of Birtamodh, Jhapa has also provided financial assistance of Rs 51,113 to Nepal Red Cross Society Sub-Branch Birtamod in memory of his wife Tulasa Dhakal.

Ninty-four-year Dhakal handed over the amount to Red Cross Sub-Branch Chairperson Sajesh Shivakoti in memory of his wife. RSS
