Pirates of ‘Dreams’ arrested

Dreams teamKathmandu / Jun 2: Police here arrested two persons yesterday on the charge of pirating latest Nepali movie Dreams and made them public on Thursday.

The arrest was made after launching an investigation into the complaint lodged by the producer of the movie, Super Kajol Films, and distributor- Highlights- claiming that the piracy of the movie in CD incurred them a loss of Rs 10 million.

A team of Nepal Police Crime Division nabbed Bidhan Gurung of Rupandehi and Chandra Labaju of Bhaktapur. The pirates were arrested with two set of computer, a mobile phone and pen drive.

The Nepal Films Artists Association has demanded stringent action against the culprit for the Association asserts such an act incurs a huge economic loss to the producer and adversely impacts the Nepali movie sector.RSS
