Miss Tourism-2016 in September

Kathmandu / June 6: In a bid to promote tourism in the national and international arena, Miss Tourism-2016, the event first of its kind, is being held in Nepal.

It was informed at a press conference that the Point Media Pvt was holding the Miss Tourism-2016 on September 10, 2016.

Applications for the participation would begin from June 15. The women from 18 to 25 years are eligible for the participation.

Managing director at Point Media Nawin Kafle informed that to make the event grand and fair, the organizing body would cooperate with the entire tourism sector.

Miss Tourism would get the cash prize of Rs 50,000; while the first runner Rs 30,000 and the second runner up Rs 20,000.

At the programme, tourism entrepreneur Hari Dharel, Mohan Basyal, Rajan Simkhada and others said the Miss Tourism was a new programme, so it should be conducted effectively to boost tourism well. RSS
