Vice President Pun leaves for China

Vice PresidentKathmandu / June 10: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun today has left for Kunming, China on a weeklong official visit.

He is leading an 11-member delegation which comprises his spouse Hastamali, Secretary at the Office of Vice President, Rajendra Kishor Chhetri, Vice President’s personal secretary Suk Bahadur Roka, Press Coordinator Manoj Gharti and Lieutenant Colonel Manoj Kumar Silwal, among others.

The Vice President will be participating in the fourth China –South Asia Fair, 24th China Kunming Import Export Trade Fair and shall address the China –South Asia Traders’ Forum.

This is the first official visit of Vice President Pun since he assumed the post on October 31, 2015. He will return home on June 16.

The Vice President was seen off at the Tribhuvan International Airport by Deputy Prime Minister Chitra Bahadur KC, other members of the Council of Ministers, the Chief Secretary, chiefs of Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and the chiefs of diplomatic missions.

Meanwhile, a contingent of the Nepalese Army had presented a guard of honour to the Vice President. RSS
