NSU to hold its national convention in Kathmandu

Kathmandu / June 12: The next 11th national convention of the Nepal Student Union, a student wing of the Nepali Congress, is going to take place in the capital city from August 7-9.

The decision to this effect has been made after the widespread suggestions of the NSU central committee members in the ongoing meeting of NSU central committee members, shared NSU Spokesperson UP Lamichhane, adding that the official decision on the same however would be taken tomorrow.

“Since a majority of the central committee members recommended organizing the convention in the capital city reasoning the monsoon, we have decided on Kathmandu,” said Spokesperson Lamichanne. A total of 3,400 NSU representatives from all over the country are expected to participate in the convention. RSS
