CIAA western regional office receives 3,226 complaints in past three years

CIAAPokhara / June 14: The Western Regional Office, Pokhara of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has received the total 3,226 complaints in the past three years.

The information was shared at an interaction on ‘the role of media in increasing people’s participating in promotion of good governance’ organised by the Development Communication Society Nepal (SODEC-Nepal).

Chief of the CIAA western regional office Dilliram Sharma informed at the event that of the registered complaints, 2,347 were sorted out so far.

The CIAA western regional office was established in September 17, 2013.

The regional office received 1902 complaints in the current fiscal year alone so far and of them, 1,023 were resolved, Sharma said. RSS
