Number of endangered Krishna Shar up

suklapant-deers-300x230Bardiya / June 25: Number of endangered wild species of Nepal, Krishna Shar, has increased to 257 in the Krishna Shar Conservation Area Khairapur.

The flood that took place on 15 August 2015 had swept away 40 out of 281 Krishan Shar. Presently, there are 79 male, 127 female and 51 kids of the rare wild species in the conservation area which is stretched over the area of 1,800 hectares.

The government had declared the Krishna Shar Conservation Area in March 2009 to protect the endangered species.

Number of the wild animal was only nine when it was declared the conservation area. RSS
