Over one million rupees collected for victim Manglak family

Toxic MushroomDamak / July 2: Financial assistance of more than one million rupees has been collected for victim Manglak family of Aanga VDC in Panchthar district.

Out of 11 people of Manglak family, who fell ill after consuming wild mushroom on May 23, five lost their lives due to this. Of the deceased, four are of the single family.

organising a press conference at Damak on Friday, Chairman of the Manglak Bansha Samaj, Lokendra Manglak said that Rs 1,031,919 has been collected in and out of the country for the support of victim Manglak family.

A total of Rs 440,000 has now been saved at bank after treatment expenditure of those ill people.

Birendra Manglak, son of Aash Bahadur, daughter-in-law Padam Maya, and two grand children—Kabita and Soni and Man Kumari, wife of Kaliman died after consuming the wild mushroom. RSS
