NRA to give opportunity for correction of details

Nepal Reconstruction AuthorityKathmandu / July 4: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has decided to resolve problem, if any, regarding the distribution of grants for the reconstruction of earthquake-damaged private house.

A meeting of the NRA on July 2 had made the decision, its Spokesperson Ram Prasad Thapaliya told media. “If any discrepancy is found in the details of the owners of devastated houses as mentioned in the grants contract based on the data of Central Project Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development, then the details of the contract agreement will be deemed final”, he added.

An arrangement has been made according to which the District Development Committee will look into the erroneous details of house owners and will send them to Central Unit and NRA with recommendation for correction. RSS
