KOICA provides financial assistance

nepal-korea-flagChitwan / July 14: The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has provided financial assistance to the School of Health Science, Bharatpur for the construction of a herbal garden and purchasing a bus for carrying students.

The School is the constituent college of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

KOICA representative Yong Mili and Principal of the School Achyut Dahal signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect on behalf their respective offices here on Wednesday.

The Agency is to provide 33,200 US Dollars for purchasing the bus and 13,800 US Dollars for the construction of the herbal garden.

It is stated that the School will use the bus for taking students to practical studies and educational tours while more than 60 species of herbs would be cultivated in the herbal garden to be constructed on three kaththa land plot. The college has more than 700 students. RSS
