Phoksingkot to be developed into a religious tourist site

Pokhara / July 20: Phoksingkot based in Nirmalpokhari of Kaski is to be developed into a religious tourist destination.

The Phoksingkot folks have been geared up for developing physical infrastructure in this historic site. A view tower is to be constructed here to catch to the scenic views of the Machhapuchhre , Annapurna and Dhawaligiri peaks and Pokhara, a town rich in natural beauty.

Construction of a temple of the Hindu Goddess Mahakali is in the Phoksingkot development project. The project implementation is expected to cost Rs 13.5 million, according to Prof Dr Ramchandra Pokhrel, the Chair of Phoksingkot Kalika Temple and View Tower Construction Committee. RSS
