Nepal cricket squad announced for Netherlands matches

Kathmandu / Aug. 03: Nepal national cricket team for the ICC World Cricket League Championship matches against the Netherlands scheduled for August 13 and 15.

A selection committee comprising ICC representative Venkatapathy Raju, the chief coach of the national team Jagat Tamata and captain Paras Khadka announced the 15-member squad today.

The team includes Khadka (skipper), Gyanendra Malla (vice-captain), Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Regmi, Sharad Vesawkar, Sompal Kami, Sagar Pun, Binod Bhandari, Raju Rijal, Karan KC, Anil Mandal, Sandip Lamichhane, Bikram Sob, Rajesh Pulami Magar and Sunil Dhamala.

Nepal are scheduled to play two matches against the hosts. The ICC selected the national team by sending its representative at a time when the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is under suspension. RSS
