Nepali migrants in Portugal donate Rs 50,000 to Syangja fire victims

nrnPortugal  / Aug 19: Nepali migrants living in Portugal have come to the rescue of people of Syangja district in Nepal whose houses were burnt down in a fire outbreak at Pelakot VDC four months ago.

The Syangja Sahayog Samaj Portugal has donated Rs 50,000 to the fire victims.

A team including the Samaj Chairman Damodar Subedi handed down the donation amounts to the fire victims at the affected area amid a programme on Thursday, said the Samaj General Secretary Dolraj Bhandari.

The Samaj said that the donation amounts were collected from Nepali migrants living in Portugal. RSS
