Resettlement of landless squatters in Gorkha demanded

Gorkha / Sept 1: CPN (Revolutionary Maoist), Gorkha Chapter has pressed for distribution of land ownership certificate to the landless squatters residing in various places in Gorkha district.
(CPN-Revolutionary Maoist) Gorkha Chapter member Krishna Kattel submitted a 10-point memorandum to the Assistant Chief District Office Netra Prasad Sharma here on Wednesday, demanding a resettlement of the landless squatters living alongside the riverbank of Chayanfli Khola at Palung Municipality, Loh VDC and Shaktichowk in Gorkha municipality.
The Party has also demanded free education to the children of squatters, discount in health services and employment of the squatters.
The other demands include providing squatters Identity Cards for them. RSS
