Four women being trafficked to Turkistan rescued

Department of Foreign EmploymentKapilvastu / Sept 3: Four women who were being trafficked to Turkistan were rescued from the Krishnanagar Check Point at Kapilvastu district Saturday.

In a joint effort of the police and Shanti Rehabilitation Centre, a local organization working against trafficking, rescued the gullible women while they were being taken to Turkistan in a promise of better employment opportunities.

Two middle men who were smuggling them to Turkistan through India have been arrested, according to Bhumi Bhattarai of the Centre.

The middle men were identified as Bhim Prasad Sunar of Bajhang and Dhan Bahadur Gurung of Kushma, Parbat district, according to the police. RSS
