Ballerinas break world record for standing en pointe in Greece

Oct. 03 : A group of 430 ballerinas gathered in Greece to break the world record for the largest simultaneous stand en pointe.
Video recorded Saturday in Thessaloniki shows the dancers forming into lines before going up on their toes in unison to break the world record.
The dancers hold their positions for a few seconds to meet the record’s requirements.
The attempt nearly doubled the previous record of 230 dancers going up en pointe at the same time in 2010 in New York. Upi.com
