Kathmandu / Nov. 05: : Nepal played a goalless draw with Timor Leste in the Group A match of the AFC Solidarity Cup held in Malasyia on Saturday.

Nepal missed some good chances to score that saw Nepal settled on one point.  Nepal had two shots hit the woodwork as Nawayug Shrestha hit the post in the 47th minute and Ananta Tamang’s header hit the crossbar in the midway of second half.

Had Nepal won today, they would directly go to the last four with one match on hand from the three-team pool as Timor Leste had already faced a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Brunei in their first match on Wednesday.

Now, Nepal’s semi-final berth will depend on their last group match against Brunei on November 8.
