NATTA to mark golden jubilee on December 9
Kathmandu / Nov 18: Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) has decided to mark its golden jubilee on December 9.
The event with the theme of ‘Tourism of Nepal: Industry of National priority’ will be marked with various programme, said the organiser at a press meet in the Capital on Friday.
Established in 1966 by a group of leading travel agents, the NATTA is a non-political, non-profit making and non-governmental national association of travel industry.
On the occasion, NATTA 21st convention will also be held, said the programme coordinator CN Pandey.
Round table discussion, blood donation and other competitive programmes aiming to attract college students towards tourism are some features of the programme.
President of the United Federation of Travel Agents’ Association, the largest world body representing the travel industry and President and representatives of the International Travel Agencies will also participate, Pandey said.
A bicycle rally will be organised in the Kathmandu Valley with an aim to press the authority concerned for speeding up reconstructions of archaeological structures ravaged by the earthquake of April 25, 2015, he said. RSS
