Technology Academy to be set up within a year

government logoKathmandu / Nov 19: As a world class university in Nepal, the ‘National Engineering and Technology Academy’ will be established soon.

The three-day workshop held by Education Ministry concluded with the demand for establishment of the academy which is expected to drive the priority of national development.

At a press conference held on Friday, Education Secretary, Shanta Bahadur Shrestha, said the academy holding an equivalent status of a varsity will be established within a year after formulation of necessary laws.

The government is preparing for setting up the academy at Chitlang of Makawanpur with support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). RSS
