President insists on developing Gadhimai Temple as a religious tourism site

bidya bhandariBirgunj / Nov 23: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has spoken of the need to develop Gadhimai Temple as a religious tourism site as of the Lumbini and Pashupatinath Temple.

Addressing an assembly after offering prayers at the Gadimai Temple, a shrine at Gadhimai Municipality in Bara district today, President Bhandari urged the bodies concerned to make a greater master plan towards this end and submit it to the government.

The Head of the State also pledged that she will prod to bring into effect the very grand master that she opined not only would develop the shrine but also the entire Gadhimai area. The President returned to the capital following the assembly. RSS
