Nepalis in Australia and Australians contribute for school in Myagdi

schoolMyagdi / Dec 5: A Nepali woman who hails from Piple in Myagdi district and currently residing in Australia has provided financial assistance worth more than Rs 600 thousand to a local school in the district.

Jamamaya Malla, together with eight Australians, handed over the cheque of that amount amid a programme held at the Dhaulagiri Primary School in Bhagawati-4 in Myagdi.

Malla, along with the eight Australians, also distributed some stationery materials to the school, according to School Principal Man Bahadur Purja.

On the occasion, a two-roomed building for the school was inaugurated and the good Samaritans were also feted for their contribution to the school. RSS
