Ex-King Gyanendra calls for unity to build prosperous Nepal

Former King Gyanendra Shah speakingKathmandu / Jan 10: Former King Gyanendra Shah has called all Nepalis to unite to protect Nepal’s existence, dignity and pride and to build stable, peaceful and prosperous Nepal.

Issuing a press statement on Tuesday, the former King said that nationality, unity and social harmony of the country were received as a result of struggle and far-sightedness of Prithvi Narayan Shah, collective support of the Nepali people and bravery of the Nepal Army.

Harmony, patriotism and love could only protect the existence and identity of the nation, adds the statement. RSS
