Labor permit from online system

Department of Foreign EmploymentKathmandu / Feb 1: Awarding of labour permit for foreign employment aspirants has begun through online system from Wednesday.

The online permit was launched by Minister for Labour and Employment, Surya Man Gurung, from Tahachal and Minister of State Dilip Khawas Gachchhadar from Labour Village.

Before the online system, the foreign employment aspirants had to stand on line for hours to get the labour permit.

Various frauds as of insurance and others on foreign employment fizzle out with this system in place.

It was long aspiration of the government, he said, hoping that the online system would make governance transparent and accountable to the public. RSS
