VP inaugurates second trade fair; says no country can prosper without women’s participation

Vice President PunKathmandu / Feb. 14: Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun on Tuesday ruled out the possibility of any country’s prosperity without women’s participation.

While inaugurating the Second Trade Fair of the International Women Entrepreneurs Federation Nepal today, VP Pun urged the government to address the problems of women entrepreneurs.

He further stressed on holding the elections of three tiers—local, provincial and federal—in the stipulated time for effective implementation of the Constitution.

Chairperson of Federation Bhawani Rana shared that the fair was organised aiming to promote the products by the women entrepreneurs.

As many as 100 stalls have been kept in display in the Fair.

Women entrepreneurs from Nepal, India, China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Korea and the Philippines are attending in the fair.

The organisers said they expected 100,000 plus visitors in the fair. The fair would conclude on February 18. RSS
