Sajha Yatayat begins night bus service in Valley

Sajha YatayatKathmandu / Feb 15: With an aim to facilitate night-shift workers and passengers’ travel to their destinations, Sajha Yatayat operated its night bus service in the Kathmandu Valley from Tuesday.

Lagankhel to Neuro Hospital in Bansbari via Patan Hospital, Bir Hospital, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Gangalal Hospital is one of the five routes on which the vehicles are operating.

Likewise, the second route includes Nepal Airlines Corporation in New Road to Koteshwor while the third route is Nepal Airlines Corporation to Kalimati.

The fourth route includes New Road to New Bus Park via Thamel, Sorhakhutte and the fifth is New Road to Chabahil via New Baneshwor, Airport, Gaushala.

The night bus service starts from 8:30 pm till 11 pm. The buses are equipped with CCTV cameras and televisions.

People are charged Rs 25 for boarding a vehicle irrespective of where he or she gets into or drops (the fare is not set on the basis of distance), said Chief Executive officer of the Yatayat, Mahendra Raj Pandey. RSS
