New election commissioners sworn in

Kathmandu / Feb 16: Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhi Prasad Yadav has administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Election Commissioners on Thursday.
Narendra Dahal, Ishwari Prasad Paudel and Sudhir Kumar Shah were administered the oath in the presence of President at the President’s Office.
Earlier on January 27, the Constitutional Council had recommended their names for the constitutional positions.
The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee had endorsed the names on February 14.
