Nepal-Korea literary fest kicks off

Nepal KoreaKathmandu / Feb 22: Literature, art and culture are the means of further strengthening bilateral relations between any two countries.

Health Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa said this while inaugurating the “Nepal-Korea Literature, Culture and Art Festival” at local Nepal Academy amidst a programme here today.

Minister Thapa stressed that Nepal should learn from achievements that South Korea made in a short span of time. He praised Republic of Korea (RoK) for providing respected jobs for Nepali workers there.

Wishing for the continuity of such festivals in the days ahead too, he thanked the South Korea for selflessly extending its helping hands to Nepal in every need.

The event is jointly organised by Nepali Writers’ Association and Eurasia Culture Forum, South Korea. According to Chair Shrawan Mukarung, literary presentations are also part of the festival.

Forum President Thong Taisick said the South Korean people have abundant love for Nepali art and culture. RSS
