Danish Prince arrives in Nepal

Danish PrinceKathmandu / Feb 24: Danish Prince Joachim Holger Waldemar Christian arrived in Nepal for a 10-day-long visit at the invitation of Care Nepal and Embassy of Denmark, Programme Director of Care Nepal Dr Popular Jentle said.

The Care Nepal has taken Prince Joachim’s Nepal visit with due importance which is taking place at a time when Nepal is moving ahead on the path of economic development and infrastructure construction.

The Danish Prince is scheduled to visit Kavre, Gorkha, Tanahun, Syangja, Kaski, Dhanusha, Siraha and Sindhuli and take stock of the different programme being operated there.

It is said that Prince Joachim would visit the locations and take information on earthquake response programme, food security and livelihood, sexual and reproductive health, natural resource management and disaster preparedness and others.

This is the second informal visit of the Danish Prince to Nepal.

The Prince, who is also the patron of Care Denmark, is accompanied by Chair of Care Denmark and CEO of Care Denmark and other representatives. RSS
