Pakistani scholarship to 200 Nepali students

Nepal Pakistan FlagKathmandu / Feb 24: The Government of Pakistan has provided scholarship to 200 students. The students getting scholarship are from nursery to grade 12.

Speaking at the programme organized to handover the cheque in this connection today, Minister for Education Dhaniram Poudel praised the support of Pakistan government for the enhancement of education in Nepal.

He added that both countries were enjoying friendly relations since long and it has further strengthened with the establishment of the SAARC.

Similarly, here based Pakistani embassy charge de affairs Jabed Umrani shared his pleasure adding that they were planning to increase the quota of scholarship to Nepali students.

The Government of Pakistan for last four years has been providing such scholarships in Nepal. A student is provided Rs 10,000 under the scholarship scheme.

It may be noted that 150 students had benefited from the same programme last year. RSS
