Nepal defeats Hong Kong by seven wickets

CricketKathmandu / March 30: Nepal defeated Hong Kong by seven wickets to register a consolation victory in the ACC Emerging Teams Cup underway in Bangladesh.

Chasing the target of 215 runs, the Nepali team achieved the target by scoring 220 runs in 42.2 overs at the loss of three wickets.

Captain Gynendra Malla top scored 70 runs off 82 balls with 11 fours, creating a foundation for the Nepali team to claim the win.

The 105 runs partnership between Dipendra Singh Airi and Sharad Bheshwakar also contributed. Airi made 60 runs from 83 balls including one six and five fours while Bheshwakar scored 55 off 51 balls with three sixes and three fours. Likewise, Dilip Nath made eight runs from 12 balls. RSS
