One Nepali killed in road accident in UK

NRNA-image-300x225Myagdi / Apr. 16: An elderly Nepali woman has died in road accident in London. Thamati Pun, 78, a permanent resident of Daanam, Myagdi, was hit by a vehicle while going to the park on Saturday.

Pun died on the spot though emergency medical team tried to provide her treatment. The deceased was hit by the speed vehicle while trying to cross the road. The police has started the investigation.

General Secretary of Myagdi Overseas Nepalese Association (MONA) , UK, Kumar Fagami has said that the people from the district living in UK are in sorrow by the incident and had expressed deep condolence to the bereaved family.

Due to the high speed movement of the vehicles has increased the risk of such incident in London. The lack in the traffic awareness knowledge, among the Nepali living in the city, is the main reason for the accident cases in the city.
