ElectionKathmandu / Aug. 21: The government today announced to hold the provincial and federal House of Representatives elections on November 26.

A Cabinet meeting held in Singhadarbar today decided to write to the Election Commission to hold both the elections on November 26.

Earlier, the Election Commission had suggested to hold both the elections on separate day.

The Commission, however, is yet to decide on the same.

The election body had proposed holding the two polls in two phases—on November 20 in Hill and Mountain areas and on December 7 in the Tarai.
