KMC to assist Rs 10 mln in development of Tokha

Kathmandu MetropolitionKathmandu / Sept. 27: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City would be assisting Rs 10 million for the conservation of culture and heritages of Tokha and developing the place into a model city.

KMC Mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya and Tokha Municipality Chief Prakash Adhikari signed an agreement on the same amid a programme held at the KMC Office today.

The collaboration would remain into effect for the next five years.

Tokha Culture, Heritages Conservations Dabu and Tokha Newa Guthi, the local organisations, facilitated the assistance signing process.

On the occasion, KMC Mayor Shakya viewed that protection and promotion of Tokha’s culture and heritages and its development would ultimately benefit the KMC folks.

Likewise, the Municipality Chief Adhikari pledged to fully utilising the monetary aid to meet the purpose. RSS
