Modern x-ray machine comes into operation at Dhangadhi airport

Biratnagarairport  X-ray machineKailali / Oct 12: A modern x-ray machine for checking luggage of passengers has come into operation at Dhangadhi Airport.

Although the x-ray machine was installed at the airport around one month ago, it was not brought into operation for lack of skilled human resource.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal had purchased the machine at a cost of eight million rupees.

Airport Chief Chhabi Singh Thagunna said that it would be convenient for the passengers as well as it would curtail the time require to screen the luggage of passengers after the operation of the machine. RSS
