Nepal thrash Malaysia by 8-wicket, enter into semis

Nepali U 19 Cricket PlayersKathmandu / Nov 14: Nepal U-19 cricket team has reached the semi-finals of ongoing Youth Asia Cup at Malaysia. Nepal’s fortune rested on the result between defending champions India and Bangladesh as the India win could have brought net run rate in play for the top two standings in a group of four teams.

Bangladesh won all the group matches and sits on top of the table with six points followed by Nepal with four points. Nepal defeated India by 19 runs on Sunday and Malaysia by eight wickets on Tuesday in a rain-curtailed match.

Similarly, Indian has beaten Malaysia but lost to Nepal and Bangladesh.

Nepal will play Afghanistan, the group toppers of Group B on November 17 in the second semi-final. Similarly, Bangladesh will take on Pakistan on November 16.
