CIAA Chief Commissioner: No politicisation in development work

CIAAKhotang / Dec 30: Chief Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Deep Basnyat has opined against politicisation in development work.

At a programme organized in his honour today at Khotang, his home district, Basnyat said that expected development has not taken place in the country due to increasing politicisation in development work.

“Do not engage in politics in the name of development, rather expedite development through politics,” Basnyat said, “fulfill your promises, and all dimensions of development will gradually take shape.”

Basnyat, who arrived in Chhorambu of Khotang after 47 years, was honoured for his service to the nation. He was further appreciated for serving the country through a top government position after being born in a remote district of the nation.

Chief Commissioner Basnyat also inaugurated the central electricity transmission line at Chhorambu of Diprung Rural Municipality-3 in Khotang district today. RSS
