Lawmaker provides Rs 1.5mln to Kapilvastu campus

government logoKapilvastu / Feb 11: Province-5 provincial assembly member Bishnu Panthi provided Rs 1.51 million to a local campus in Banganga Municipality-4 of Kapilvastu district.

The locals have organised a week-long Mahayagya programme since February 6 with the aim to collect fund to run Animal and Crop Science programme at the Siddhartha Campus.

The province lawmaker Panthi provided this amount at the programme for the operation of technical education programme at the campus.

Earlier, Panthi was elected to the Province Assembly on a CPN-UML ticket from Kapilvastu constituency 1 (A).

A fund of Rs 1.76 million was collected on the second day of the Mahayagya ritual, according to Yuba Raj Pokhrel, coordinator of the Mahayagya programme. RSS
