Nepal defeated by 45 runs

Nepali U 19 Cricket PlayersKathmandu / March 17: The Netherlands has defeated Nepal by 45 runs. In the last game played between two countries for seventh in ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier at Kwekwe, Zimbabwe.

Chasing the run-target of 190 by the Dutch team, Nepal failed to meet the target and was all out in 144 runs with the remaining of 5.2 over.

Sompal Kami scored highest 36 run for Nepal of 53 balls including three fours and one six. Deependra Singh Airee scored 25 run off 38 balls with three fours.

Captain Paras Khadka could hit just 22 runs off 37 balls with the contribution of three fours.

Earlier, Netherlands had given190 runs target for Nepal in the final game. The Netherlands, who won the toss and elected to bat first, lost wickets in quick succession as Sompal Kami picked four wickets while Sandeep Lamichhane and Lalit Rajbanshi picked two wickets each.

BFW De Leede scored highest runs (39) for the Netherlands.
