Dhangadhi defeats Rupendehi by 3 runs

Nepal CricketKathmandu / Apr 07:Dhangadhi Team Chauraha has defeated Rupendehi Challengers by 3 runs in the ongoing second Dhangadhi Premier League (DPL) on Saturday.

Dhangashi Team was invited to bat first after losing the toss. Sonu Tamang smashed 34 runs in 14 balls. UAE batsman Rohan Mustafa made 15 runs while other players could not make double-digit runs.

Susan Bhari picked highest 3 wickets and Dipesh Shrestha picked 2 wickets for Rupendehi Challengers. Sagar Pun and Shakti Gauchan took one wicket each.

The match was reduced to 8 overs due to bad weather. Rupendehi was knocked out before reaching the playoff, so, this match was only for a prestige match.

Dhangadhi has secured four points in four matches, where it lost two matches and won two. Whereas Rupendehi has no point in losing all the four matches.
