Elected Central Working Committee members were only present in the meeting held to appoint office bearers to the key positions of the party.
Meanwhile, NC senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel faction boycotted the meeting accusing Deuba of making decision against the agreement and provision of the statute.
The Paudel faction has been arguing that the appointment should not take place until the suspension of certain provisions of the party statute.
Former General Secretary Prakash Man Singh and leader Mahesh Acharya boycotted the meeting saying that the appointment was made against the agreement and provision of the statute. They put forth their views before boycotting the meeting.
According a provision mentioned in NC statute, party office bearers should be appointed within two months after the completion of General Convention.
