Sherpa elected ANFA president

Karma-Tsering-SherpaKathmandu / May 5: Karma Tsering Sherpa has been elected as the President of All-Nepal Football Association (ANFA).

Sherpa defeated his rival candidate Mani Kunwar in the election held after three and a half years after former President Ganesh Thapa was banned.

Pankaj Bikram Nembang, Upendra Man Singh, Krishna Bahadur Thapa and Bir Bahadur Khadka, all from Sherpa’s panel, were elected as vice presidents.

Similarly, Dawa Lama, Niroj Khadgi, Purnaman Chitrakar, Rabindra Nath Shrestha, Madhu Sudan Upadhyay, Pradesh Singh Rathaur, Dinesh Byanjankar, Dirgha Bahadur KC, Kiran Rai, Bijay Ghale and Ratna Kumar Shrestha were elected as members.
