Teacher expelled for coming to school in drunken state

schoolJajarkot / May 5: A teacher of a school based in Khurpa area of Kushe rural municipality – 5 has been expelled after he discarded warnings to not come to school in a drunken state.

Hem Raj Shahi, an English teacher at the Laxmi Prapti Secondary School, had been coming to school in an inebriated state. Action was taken against Shahi for obstructing classes on a regular basis by coming to school in a drunken state, Principal Dinesh Kumar Singh said.

Shahi did not heed to repeated warnings after which an assembly of guardians recommended expelling the teacher. RSS
