Toilet for persons with disability constructed at Gongabu bus park

toiletKathmandu / May 14: A disability-friendly toilet has been constructed at the new bus park in Gongabu, the largest bus terminal of the country.

Lhotse Multi-purpose Pvt Ltd, which has undertaken the management of the bus park complex under a 50-year lease, constructed the toilet for the convenience of passengers with physical disabilities.

There was no such facility at the bus park before this.

The toilet — constructed at a cost of Rs 2.5 million — can be used by wheel-chair users, General Manager of Lhotse Multi-purpose Pvt Ltd, Sunil Kunwar said.

The facility has separate toilets for male and female wheel-chair users, he added.

The bus park, spread over 161 ropanis area, has parking space for 1,000 vehicles. RSS
