National poet taken to India for further treatment

KATHMANDU May 24/ National poet Madhav Prasad Ghimire has been taken to India for further treatment. Ghimire was flown to the New Delhi Wednesday afternoon, where he will undergo treatment at the Medanta Hospital, informed Ghimire’s daughter Usha Adhikari.

Madhav_Pd_GhimireGhimire was receiving treatment at Dhapasi-based Grande International Hospital after suffering from internal bleeding, and the hospital recommended him to Medanta. Ghimire is accompanied by his son Indriwar and Dr Rohit Chaudhary of Grande Hospital.
He has been under regular medication for the past four months following complications to his heart, kidney and lungs. RSS
