Nepal’s first disability-friendly library in Nuwakot

Diable frindly libararyKATHMANDU: Read Nepal, a non-government organisation, has built a community library with disability-friendly and multi-disaster resistant infrastructure.

The NGO built Janajagaran Community Library at Belkot Municipality-2 in Nuwakot district with nine rooms including children’s room, information and technology room and disaster risk reduction room along with four accessible toilets.
The library building was constructed at a cost of Rs 17.5 million under the Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction Project, Read Nepal’s official Chin Kaji Shrestha informed. RSS
