Govt to tighten regulations of NGOs, INGOs

Kathmandu, June 8/ Government has decided to tighten the regulations of the NGOs and INGOs. A meeting between Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa and Minister for Women, Children, Senior Citizens Tham Maya Thapa held Thursday took a decision to make the regulation act of the NGOs and INGOs tough since ill practices have gone up for lack of monitoring.

Likewise, the District Administration Offices would send the reports after the regulations of the NGOs and INGOs now onward stating that there were some weaknesses in the existing regulations.

Similarly, the property details of the office bearers of INGOs and NGOs would be made public by making a procedure. RSS
