Chitwan declared fully immunized district

Chitwan, July 16: Chitwan district has been declared fully immunized district amid a program here today.

Addressing a program organized by Bharatpur Metropolitan City to declare Chitwan fully immunized district, State Minister, Padma Aryal, reaffirmed government’s commitment to render medical services to one and all in the country.

State-Minister Aryal assured that the anomalies taking place in the medical sector in the country would be curbed and healthcare services would be ensured to every citizen, saying that there are a total of 2,312 wards across the country, which still do not have Health Post.
On a different note, Aryal clarified that the government could not address all demands of Dr Govinda KC. She, however, reiterated the government’s serious concerns about the demands put forth by the Dr KC.

Similarly, lawmaker Dil Kumari (Parbati) Rawal, provincial lawmaker Krishna Khanal, Geeta Wagle, Bharatpur Metropolitan City Mayor Renu Dahal, District Coordination Committee Chief Krishna Kumar Dallakoti and District Public Health Office, Chitwan Chief Bijaya Kumar Jha addressed the event.

So far, children in all 12 wards, except ward no 6, were fully immunized in the district. Altogether 15 vaccines are administered to children up to 15 months. The local administration aims to administer vaccines to as many as 14,300 children within a year.
Likewise, many individuals and organization contributing towards immunization goal were honored in the program. RSS
