Direct bus service from Bhaktapur-Pokhara started

Bhaktapur, July 27: Direct bus service from Bhaktapur to Pokhara has been operated from today. Mayor of Suryabinayak municipality, Basudev Thapa, inaugurated the bus service and welcomed the passengers including two foreign nationals travelling to Pokhara.

On the occasion, Mayor Thapa said that the Municipality is going to develop Suryabinayak area of Bhaktapur as a tourism destination. He further said that the operation of bus service from Bhaktapur to Pokhara would further help in tourism development at a time when the Municipality has brought a programme for developing the Suryabinayak as the religious and cultural tourism site.

Mayor Thapa said that the Municipality was ready to move ahead joining hands with tourism entrepreneurs of Municipality area for tourism development.

Byas Travel and Tour Pvt Ltd has for the first time brought the direct bus service from Bhaktapur to Pokhara into operation.

Director of the Byas Travel and Tours, Deepak Bhattarai, said that they have started the bus services with two buses in the beginning phase. RSS
