Five killed, 17 injured in Trishuli bus plunge

trishuli-riverKathmandu, July 27: Five died on the spot and 17 other sustained injuries at an accident that took place at Chumlingtar of Icchakamana Rural Municipality. A passenger bus en route to Syangja from Kathmandu collided with a truck and skidded off the road 100 meters into Trishuli river.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. Injured 17 have been taken to Bharatpur for treatment.
